Background

Bio

Dr Dinh received the BEng and MSc degrees from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. He was awarded his PhD degree from Griffith University, Australia in 2017.

He is currently working as a GU Postdoctoral Fellow at Queensland Micro- and Nanotechnology Centre, Griffith University. His research interests include micro/nano-electromechanical systems (MEMS/NEMS), physics of semiconductors and sensors for harsh environments, soft robotics and advanced nanomaterials for wearable applications. He has authored and co-authored over 50 high quality and high impact factor journal articles. His work has also been featured on the cover of top tier journals in the field, as well as selected as Editor's picks and spotlight papers. Dr Dinh has received three best conference paper awards. He has served as a reviewer for several high-quality and high-impact-factor journals such as ACS Materials & Interfaces, Journal of Materials Chemistry and Advanced Materials.

Dr Dinh has had several years of teaching experience in mechanical and mechatronic engineering at Griffith University, Australia, and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam. He was awarded Australian Nanotechnology Network (ANN) Overseas Travel Fellowship and Griffith University Postdoctoral Fellowship. Dr Dinh was a recipient of the Griffith University Postgraduate Research Scholarship and the International Postgraduate Research Scholarship.
