Teaching Philosophy

I set myself as an example for students as a teacher and a professional. My passion in learning and teaching is reflected in my teaching style, which often is a highlight in the student feedback. I value and preach effective and compassionate listening skills, communication skills and proficient writing skills as key coherent factors in the development of a professional. Problem-based and student-centred learning are integral in my courses. I guide my students while stressing the importance of professionalism and obligations in the society once out of the university. My higher degree research supervisory principles are to facilitate ample opportunities, turning them into independent researchers and future leaders by providing them with maximum exposure in leadership skills and roles.
