Bio

Professor Regina Ganter teaches Australian History and heritage studies in the School of Humanities, specialising on interactions between indigenous, Asian and European peoples in northern Australia.  She is an elected member of the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) and of the Australian Academy of Humanities. Since joining Griffith in 1992 she produced some sixty publications, including two major books, three edited volumes and a book-length website.
