Background

Bio

Lauren is a cultural sociologist with research interests in the areas of popular music, music and memory, and music and well-being. She is currently engaged in an industry postdoctoral project that connects music and reminiscence therapy to increase the well-being of people in aged care. Additionally, she works on projects in popular music heritage and is the co-editor of an upcoming Routledge Companion to Popular Music History and Heritage. Further interests lie in the areas of social and cultural geography and intersections with autobiographical memory.
