Bio

Janet Ransley is Head of the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, Griffith University. She is also an associate investigator in the ARC Centre of Excellence in Policing and Security. She is an academic participant in the current Australasian Policing Forum Executive Sessions. She worked previously as a researcher and policy advisor for the Queensland Legislative Assembly and for the Criminal Justice Commission (now the CCC), and in private legal practice.
