Dr Wu is a lecturer within the School of Nursing and Midwifery. She has been a Registered Nurse since 1992. She has extensive experience across a variety of clinical settings, as well as in tertiary education and research. Her research focuses on the area of ageing, and aims to improve quality of life for older adults. Her clinical research is particularly interested in preventing hospital admission and re-admission in older adults through chronic disease self-management, nurse-led interventions for managing common geriatric health conditions, and health promotion. Dr Wu is also passionate about advancing the nursing profession through evidenced-based practice, and advocating the use of best available evidence to inform teaching and nursing practice.
