Dr. Martha Mansah is a registered nurse, researcher and lecturer at Griffith University, School of Nursing and Midwifery. She has an extensive clinical background in acute aged care and residential aged care facilities and the emergency department. Martha has established a strong education in the undergraduate programs and postgraduates. She has also worked in clinical education through her many years in the clinical sector, holding workshops, forums on evidenced-based practice and thorough focus on quality and improvement, with a focus on patient safety. Martha's research and education focus on, patient safety, errors and adverse events, the safe transition of the patient across care settings, acute and critical care of (including monitoring deterioration) and improving the quality of life in older people.
