BIO

Letitia is a Research Fellow within the Division of Rehabilitation, and is based at the Princess Alexandra Hospital campus. Her role focuses on the development and conduct of a program of research to enhance disability and rehabilitation practices, services and systems, in order to maximise the health and social well-being of individuals and families who are involved in long-term rehabilitation. Letitia is a social scientist, with research interests that include qualitative research, the health and well-being of people with major long-term health issues, and how to enhance their quality of life through better services. She is also interested in palliative care and end of life issues, as well as the health and well-being of lay carers and health professionals in these settings.
