BIO

Dr Tina Skinner-Adams was awarded her PhD in 2000 from the University of Western Australia. She then carried out five years of postdoctoral research at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR) before being awarded a University of QLD, Women in Science Fellowship. After 3 years at the University of QLD, Tina was recruited back to QIMR as a Senior Research Officer. In 2012 Dr Skinner-Adams was recruited to Griffith University's Institute for Drug discovery (GRIDD; formally Eskitis Institute for Drug Discovery) where her research focus is Tropical Parasitology and Drug Discovery. Dr Tina Skinner-Adams has a career total of 87 publications (71 peer-reviewed) and a H-index of 28 (Publish or Perish).
