Associate Professor Peter Woods is Director (International) of the Griffith Business School, Australia. He is a member of the Department of Business Strategy and Innovation at Griffith University. His award-winning research has been published in leading international academic journals including the Journal of Business Ethics and Information Technology and People. His graduate and undergraduate teaching has been recognised by multiple awards, including the prestigious 2010 Australian Learning and Teaching Council Award for Teaching Excellence (Internationalisation) 'Brisbane's Best Lecturer' (2012), awarded by the Golden Key International Honour Society. Peter has provided strategic, international business and human resource management related consulting to multinational corporations, tertiary education institutions, government agencies and private sector businesses. He has successfully provided specialist training for Indonesian civil servants from agencies such as Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral and Badan Pengawasan Keuangan dan Pembangunan and a number of Indonesian Universities. He has provided cross-cultural training in Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, New Zealand and number of Australian cities. He is in demand as a keynote conference speaker internationally and nationally and has provided training for tertiary educators in institutions such as the University of Queensland, the University of Canberra, the University of Victoria (Wellington, NZ), University of Canterbury (NZ), and many Universities in Indonesia, South Africa and Kenya. He is a speaker of Mandarin Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia. Before academia, Dr. Woods was a pioneer of a number of non-government multicultural organisations in Brisbane including the Multicultural Community Centre and the Asia Pacific Institute. He also served as a supervising social worker in Brisbane hospitals for 10 years. He is a co-author of seven management books. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Chinese Human Resource Management.
