Ki-Hoon Lee is an internationally recognised scholar in the field of corporate sustainability management. Through his research, Ki-Hoon embraces environmental, social and economic challenges, integrating sustainability into the business value chain to enhance both business and societal value. As applied business economist and management scholar with teaching, consulting and public policy experience, Ki-Hoon’s research and consulting expertise include corporate sustainability management, carbon management and adaptation strategies, traceability and transparency in global supply chain, market and non-market valuation, business sustainability and environmental management accounting in the corporation-market-natural environment nexus. Ki-Hoon's research works are widely published in the International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Cleaner Production, British Accounting Review, Business Strategy and the Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Sustainable Development, Supply Chain Management, and International Journal of Innovation and Sustainable Development, among others. He is a member of Griffith Asia Institute and Cities Research Institute. He is also Visiting Professor of Business Sustainability at Ivey Business School, London, Ontario in Canada; Visiting Professor at Vienna University of Economics and Business in Vienna, Austria; and Senior Research Fellow at Centre for Sustainability Management (CSM), Leuphana University in Germany. Since 2013, he has been the Chairman of Environmental and Sustainability Management Accounting Network (EMAN) in Asia Pacific to lead Asia-Pacific focused 'business/industry academia' network for sustainability management. He is currently working on a number of research projects which include: sustainability accounting and organizational transformation in Asia Pacific, funded by World Bank; an investigation of usefulness of sustainability management accounting between Australia and Sri Lanka, funded by CIMA, UK; a joint survey on corporate sustainability barometer in 11 countries to identify current status of corporate sustainability implementation knowledge-practice gap for further improvement in sustainability management.
