TEACHING INTERESTS

Across her career, Julie has taught courses within Education and Applied Theatre. Within Applied Theatre, Julie has specialised in teaching courses associated with Process Drama and Improvisation. Within Education, Julie's teaching has focused on curriculum, pedagogy and assessment in primary and early childhood arts education, and middle years drama education. Julie is currently the course convenor of a core course within the Master of Secondary Teaching Program entitled The Griffith Dimensions of Learning and Teaching. Julie was the Program Director for this Program across 2015-2018. In terms of Higher Degree Research Supervision, Julie has a strong record of completions and is a past winner of the Arts, Education, Law Group "Excellence in Research Supervision" Award.
