Masnoon Saiyed is a Research Fellow in Health Economics at Griffith University, Queensland and has working experience in pharmacoepidemiology, systematic reviews, health econometrics, and health economic modelling. Masnoon is a pharmacist by training and has a post-graduate degree in Clinical Pharmacy from India. Masnoon did his second master’s degree by research from the Department of Pharmacy, National University of Singapore. He was University Gold Medallist for both undergraduate and post-graduation degrees in India. He is the recipient of several prestigious research scholarships from the Government of India and Singapore. He also received travel grants twice from the International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology to present his research at international conference organised by Harvard University, USA and Trinity College Dublin, Ireland in the year 2015 and 2016 respectively. He has a strong background of clinical study design with an emphasis on clinical and analytical writing skills. He has an excellent understanding in Pharmacoepidemiology, Clinical Research, Patient-Reported Outcomes, and Health Economics and Outcomes Research. Masnoon currently works on the drafting of PICO confirmation for industry applications to Medical Services Advisory Committee, and the evaluation of industry submissions of new technologies for listing on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.
